Civic and Accord: a shared filter is only one match
Two 2015 Hondas show why one shared part number cannot stand in for a full application check.

These are the explicit configurations discussed here. Open a documented shortlist for one of these selections.
A shared manufacturer badge is a poor shortcut for buying maintenance parts. Even a shared part number proves only that specific application. The 2015 Civic 1.8L gas and 2015 Accord 2.4L gas provide a useful example: some catalog entries overlap, while their engine intake filters remain different purchases.
Cabin and oil filters: shared numbers with separate evidence
FRAM CF10134 and WIX 24815 each document both selected cars in their own cabin-filter application tables. FRAM XG7317 independently documents both in its oil-filter table. Each match belongs to that exact record. The cabin-filter evidence cannot establish the oil-filter match, and no match extends automatically to another engine or year.
Civic engine-air shortlist
For the 2015 Civic 1.8L gas, compare FRAM CA11113, WIX 49031 and K&N 33-2468. The first two provide replacement-panel choices; K&N’s oiled cotton filter brings a cleaning and re-oiling routine. Use the Civic application source on each product, then compare the media, dimensions and care commitment.
Accord engine-air shortlist
For the 2015 Accord 2.4L gas, the corresponding researched choices are FRAM CA11476, WIX 49750 and K&N 33-2498. These are different model codes from the Civic list. Shared brands or broadly similar panel shapes do not make the two lists interchangeable. Confirm the original air box before shopping either group.
Keep two clear shopping lists
Choose the full vehicle selection before opening the referenced records below. Label saved numbers with the year, model, engine and system so “Honda air filter” cannot blur engine intake with cabin ventilation. WIX’s public legacy tables support the listed applications but do not establish current availability. Reopen the manufacturer entry if a vehicle, housing or part number changes.
